Assessing the Impact of Proposed Changes on Current Window Installation Practice

This survey does not collect any personal information.
The Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) is seeking your input on window and door installation practices. A proposed code change for the 2025 National Building Code (PCF 1950) proposes additional requirements for the preparation of the rough stud opening (RSO) including sill protection for all windows/doors and for reduced insulation levels in the RSO to allow for drainage (PCF 1951).

With your feedback CHBA would be able to understand the impact of this change to the industry when it comes to window/door installation practice. For more information, please contact Jack Mantyla.

The estimated time to complete this survey is 5 minutes.
