The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted many industries across our region, with the hospitality sector in particular experiencing major disruptions due to ever changing restrictions.

Council has received State Government funding to support affected local hospitality businesses. One option being considered is the expansion of outdoor dining areas in the form of parklets. This would be on a temporary basis until April 2021 to ensure businesses can capitalise on outdoor dining weather and make up for lost revenue.
