Innovation Award Entry Form guidelines

Entry deadline - August 15, 2024
Entries submitted in this category should offer a creative solution to a problem. It could relate to retaining existing customers while attracting new ones, improving products and services, or raising your public image. This could be done within design or horticulture, or a practical application of new technology or known technology in new and experimental ways.

If you have a creative solution to a problem your company has faced, you may submit an award nomination. There is no entry fee for this award.

All current ALCC member companies are eligible to enter into this category. Must be a current member with a membership expiration date of June 30, 2024 or later.

Entry guidelines and procedures
  • Select a solution to a problem, issue or challenge you believe merits the award for this category. Show an example of a problem you solved using an innovative approach.
  • If submitting an entry for new software, you must be the company that developed and wrote the software. Please provide documentation that the product is your creation.
  • If submitting an entry based on new or known technology or products, you must credit who originally created the product. You must also state how long the technology or product has been in the industry.
  • Complete the entry form on the following pages. You will be able to return to the form if you are not able to complete your entry in one sitting. Please note, you will need to use the same device in order to access your saved entry form.
  • The majority of the work done on the project (50% or more) must be completed by the company submitting this entry form. If two companies are submitting an entry jointly, they must both be ALCC members.
  • You will be asked to submit no more than 5 color photos and a video that demonstrates the solution. Your entry is not considered complete until your photos and video are submitted.
  • Each entry must include a signature of release. Photos and video become the property of ALCC. ALCC reserves the right to utilize all submitted photos for the awards program and/or other promotional and publicity purposes. ALCC accepts no responsibility for copyrights or photogenic fees.
  • Please note, you may be asked to provide photo credits.
