Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT) Program Name Rebranding: Survey for Members

We need your input, MaineCare members!

We are choosing a new name for the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT) program and we’d like your opinion.

MaineCare’s EPSDT program can pay for medically necessary services or equipment for children and youth under the age of 21 that are not normally covered by MaineCare. The program can cover a wide range of preventive, dental, developmental, behavioral health, and specialty services.

The goal is to choose a program name that is more memorable and represents the EPSDT program goals of early screening, diagnosis, and access to treatment services for children and youth under age 21.
