Introduction

The Manitoba Government has provided funding through the Manitoba Community Safety and Well-Being Planning Project for the City of Selkirk to develop a Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) Plan in partnership with the Canadian Centre for Safer Communities. This project will include several public engagement activities, including this CSWB survey, focused conversations with community members, and other approaches to be determined later on.

This survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete and responses will be collected until October 31st, 2024 at 11:59pm. Demographic information is collected to understand the various experiences of Selkirk residents. All responses are confidential.

Content Warning: This survey includes questions about your experience with several crimes, including domestic violence, assault, and sexual assault. Specific details regarding your experience will not be asked. If you would like to discuss your experience in more detail, a list of resources has been included.

If you have questions about the survey or you would like to request a paper copy, please contact the City of Selkirk by email at citizensupport@cityofselkirk.com or by phone at 204-785-4900.
