The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) has proposed increasing the threshold related to the overtime exemption. Today, the minimum salary required to classify workers as exempt is $23,660. The proposed new rule would move this to $50,440. This has caused great concern among RCPA members as there is no additional funding being proposed to cover the cost of this change.
On June 7, 2016 RCPA will be going to Washington DC with several members to discuss this issue with PA legislators. In advance of this visit we are asking that this survey be completed so that we have data to present in addition to our concerns.
Please answer all of the following questions. If exact answers or numbers are not known, reasonable estimates are acceptable.
The deadline for completing this survey is June 1. Thank you.
