For nearly two years HSU members have been fighting hard for a 25% pay rise in the HSU’s historic Aged Care Work Value Case.
All across the country, HSU members have given evidence in the case, lobbied in workplaces and in parliament, and led the fight for a 25% pay rise across the sector.
In early November this year, the Fair Work Commission handed down an interim decision of a 15% pay rise for direct care employees only.
