What stories can this building tell?

Donald Insall Associates is working on behalf of Shropshire Council to capture your stories and memories of the former Cambrian Railway Station. These will be shared at a public event in the summer, which is being delivered as part of Shropshire Council’s ambitions to return the building to full use.

We’d be very grateful if you could give us five minutes of your time to answer the questions below.

* What are your oldest memories of the station? Do you have any connections?

* Until 1966 trains ran from Oswestry to the coast and along the mainline and served local quarries and industry. Did you ever use the line and, if so, for what?

* Since the railway closed the station building has been an auction house, DIY store, pharmacy, restaurant and Tourist Information Centre, as well as other uses. Do you have any memories of these?
