Application to Serve on Statewide Offshore Wind Energy Roadmap Roundtable |
Background
House Bill 4080 in the 2024 Legislative Session directed the Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD) to develop an Offshore Wind Energy Roadmap. The roadmap will define the standards Oregon should consider related to development and approval of offshore wind energy.
This application is for people interested in serving on the Roundtable for the Offshore Wind Energy Roadmap (Roadmap Roundtable) for this process. Roundtable members will share insight, expertise and experience with DLCD staff. DLCD will appoint members to the Roundtable in October 2024.
The Roadmap Roundtable is expected to convene in all-day meetings held once a month (in-person, virtual, or hybrid) until June 2025. Virtual working group meetings will be held as needed.
The Offshore Wind Energy Roadmap development process will include additional opportunities for community engagement through June 2025. DLCD will be seeking information and guidance from affected communities, interest and industry groups in the Roadmap development process.

DLCD will hold Roadmap Roundtable optional information session for people who are interested from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024. Attendance is not required for consideration on the Roundtable.
