Offaly County Council are in the process of preparing a new five-year Arts Strategy for Offaly (2023 to 2028) and the Arts Office is issuing an open invitation for people to come forward with their comments, observations and concerns.
The arts in Offaly have experienced huge progress through the life of the previous arts strategy (2018-2022). We have new festivals, new arts organisations, and an increase in the number and visibility of artists living and working in the county. Together we have built strong foundations for the arts and artists to develop even further.
This questionnaire is part of our efforts to gather information, ideas, and insights; to understand the impact of what we have achieved through our previous plans, to build on our successes and to address the gaps in policy, practice, and provision. 
Your thoughts, ideas and experiences are essential in helping us understand arts provision for Offaly and how Offaly County Council Arts Office can continue to support and improve your experiences. Your responses will aid in shaping future arts programmes, projects and events.
