About the Event
The 2024 Ocean Decade Conference (OceanDecade24) will be held in Barcelona, Spain on 10-12 April 2024. Hosted by Spain and co-organized with UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC/UNESCO), the conference will be a seminal moment in the implementation of the Ocean Decade. It will provide a unique opportunity for the Ocean Decade community and partners to convene to take stock of progress and set joint collective priorities for the future of the Decade.
The conference will be a 3-day, in-person event and will have scope for partners to propose and lead side events, exhibitions and networking events relevant to the conference themes. It is anticipated that a number of related high-level national and international events will take place before and after the main conference.
