The City of Obetz previous trash contract will expire at the end of February, and we are currently in the process of negotiating for a new contract. We anticipate the new trash rates will increase by approximately $2 per month. Additionally, we are exploring the option of including curbside recycling service with a dedicated rolling container for an extra $2–$3 per month. Please note that recycling services would be offered citywide—it's an all-or-nothing decision for our community.
