Introduction

The Town of Oakville and Oakville Public Library are collaborating on a Master Plan to identify current and future priorities for parks, recreation, and library facilities and services.

Residents continue to express how important these spaces and services are to their health and wellbeing. The Town agrees and continues to invest in community facilities, culture and sports amenities, parks, and trails.

Given Oakville's projected growth of nearly 80,000 residents by 2034, the Master Plan prioritizes parks, recreation, and library services as integral components in sustaining the high quality of life expected by residents into the future.

Last year, residents were invited to share their ideas and opinions on programs, services and facilities. Based on this feedback and related research, a series of directions has been prepared to guide service and facility delivery for the next decade and beyond.

Before finalizing the plan, the Town is once again reaching out to encourage residents to provide feedback. Please complete this survey by June 30, 2024. It should take only about 10 minutes. Only one submission per person, please.

Please visit the project page to find more information about this study.

The results of this survey will be used for the purposes of this Master Plan only and will be used along with other inputs to develop recommendations that will be considered by the Town of Oakville. Should you have any questions, please direct your inquiries to Darryl McWilliam, Manager Support Services, Recreation and Culture, 905-845-6601, ext. 3503 or darryl.mcwilliam@oakville.ca.
