Optum 2022 Credentialing Initial IPA Compliance Training Attestation |
Introduction
Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requires health plans and its First-Tier Downstream Related entities (FDRs) to comply with specific annual compliance program. As a provider undergoing the credentialing process with Optum, I am required to train and attest initially. Upon successful credentialing with Optum, my organization is required to train and attest annually thereafter.
Optum's health plan partners require that all Optum's contracted IPA providers complete regulatory, compliance, and health plan-specific training. As part of my credentialing commitment to Optum, I must evidence that the training course listed has been completed prior to credentialing approval.
The provided links to training courses enable me to meet the requirements in the event my organization does not already have one in place.
