Who we are .....

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) is changing the way we collect our information from the public and businesses; the government is going 'Digital by Default', meaning that the internet should be the main way for people to interact with government. 

To help ONS become Digital by Default we are developing our own online questionnaire tool and online versions of our Census, Business and Social Surveys. This work will enable the public and businesses to provide their information to ONS online.

In order to ensure that what we are developing is suitable for everyone to use we will be undertaking different types of research, such as asking people to test out the new online surveys and give us their feedback.
