OADN Research Policy: Application to Survey Membership |
Overview
OADN values nursing education and practice and endeavors to support its members in their research efforts and their pursuit of advanced degrees. OADN is committed to helping promote the implementation and publication of research related to associate degree nursing education and practice in its official journal, Teaching and Learning in Nursing (TELN), and through podium/poster presentations at the Annual OADN Convention. The OADN Research Policy relates to research survey requests of OADN members.
Research and survey requests from students must be approved by the student’s nursing program dean, director, or faculty advisor. Completed applications with requests to survey OADN members will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Approval of research proposals depends on a number of factors, including but not limited to, the purpose of the research and feasibility of the research plan. Dissemination plans that include right of first refusal given to TELN for publication and/or OADN Convention abstract submissions are strongly encouraged.
