NextFlex Education & Workforce Strategic Planning Survey |
NextFlex is a consortium of American advanced technology companies, academic institutions, non-profits, state, local and federal government partners with the shared goal of advancing U.S. manufacturing of printed hybrid electronics (HE). Since its formation in 2015, the NextFlex community of technologists, educators, problem solvers and manufacturers have come together to collectively facilitate HE innovation, narrow the advanced manufacturing workforce gap and promote longstanding electronics manufacturing ecosystems. NextFlex is one of nine Manufacturing Innovation Institutes (MII) established by the DoD Manufacturing Technology Program as public-private partnerships. Learn more about the MII here.
To meet its mission, NextFlex developed the NextFlex Learning Portfolio. Their learning portfolio focuses on advanced manufacturing training through awareness building, recruitment, and skill building for the advanced manufacturing sector and hybrid electronics (HE) community. Current target audiences include K-12 students, transitioning military servicemembers, students engaged in technical training, university students, and the incumbent workforce. They are currently undergoing a strategic planning process which will inform the future efforts of the NextFlex Learning Portfolio. This survey is part of NextFlex’s effort which will enable them to stay competitive, keeping up with current technology and training trends. The NextFlex Education and Workforce Development team hopes to obtain insights from non-member organizations/entities that align with broader workforce-related pain points and enables them to have a broader impact to meet these demands.
This brief survey will take no more than 10 minutes to complete. NextFlex will use this information to inform a landscape analysis of workforce and training needs related to the development and implementation of emerging technologies related to Hybrid Electronics. If you have any questions about this survey or the strategic planning process, please contact Nikki Stoicoiu, at nglazerstoicoiu@newgrowthgroup.com.
