Team First Candle - 2018 TCS New York City Marathon Bib Application

*** This application is for runners who are applying for entry into the race through First Candle, Inc. a recognized charity partner in the New York Road Runners (NYRR) charity program.

***First Candle/Team First Candle has secured a limited number of guaranteed entries for the 2018 TCS New York City Marathon. We are thrilled at the possibility of you becoming part of our team and helping us save babies' lives. Team First Candle selections will be made based on fundraising capacity/experience. Preference will be given to those families affected by SIDS, sleep related infant deaths, stillbirth and miscarriage.

Race Date: November 4, 2018

If selected as a member of Team First Candle for the 2018 TCS New York City Marathon, your registration will include:

·        Entry into the race (including fluid/fueling stations, medical support, entertainment, bag-check handling, security)

·        Team First Candle shirt

·        Finisher materials (medal, food, beverages, and more)

·        A picture and video as you cross the finish line

·        Your own fundraising site that you can personalize (on CrowdRise)

·        Promotion on our website and assistance with local PR support and tips on fundraising.

·        Subscription to NYRR's Virtual Trainer - a fully customizable day-by-day training program that adapts to your changing lifestyle and training plans. Expertly prepare with course-specific and race-strategy tips.

Your responsibilities include:

·        A fundraising minimum of $3500. This remains in place even in the event you are unable to run.

·        Paying your individual race registration fees ($255 for NYRR Members/$295 for Non-members/$358 for non-US residents)

·        Providing credit card information as a personal guarantee for your fundraising minimum
