Clinical Coordinators, Clinic Nurses, Nurse Managers and others - Welcome to WSNA! Your Northwest Local Unit Officers and WSNA Nurse Rep will be meeting with management in a couple of weeks to bargain a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to officially bring you into the Northwest Contract. To see changes that were made to the current Northwest Contract during the recent Negotiations, go to the WSNA NW Hospital page and scroll to the “update” posted on April 1, 2019. You may also want to peruse the UWMC Contract language regarding RN2 and RN3 positions. We anticipate the Clinic Nurses, Cardiac Rehab Nurses to fall under the RN2 role (pages 53-54), the Clinic Nurse Leads to fall under the Charge Nurse role, and the Clinical Coordinators, Nursing Shift Managers and a couple of others to fall under RN3 role (pages 55-56).

We have held a couple meetings in hopes of meeting some of you and to hear your concerns coming into the Contract. We have had informative conversations with the nurses who were able to attend. This short survey is designed to receive input from the rest of you and guide us in our bargaining.

Will we receive the Longevity Bonus in November 2020?

We want Annual Leave and Sick Leave in lieu of the PTO we have now.

Rest and Meal breaks without interruption and overtime for time worked during a rest or meal break.

Option to work overtime or take off equal hours later in week.

Overtime pay for hours worked over 40.

Extra shifts - Can we work extra and still work our scheduled shifts without having to take another day off?

Will we punch a time clock?

Low Census inclusion….how will this affect us?

Seniority returned– if member of WSNA & left to work Clinical Coordinator role.

Seniority given for years as Clinical Coordinator, Clinic RN or other role.
