SAVER Customer Feedback Survey

The System Assessment and Validation for Emergency Responders (SAVER) Program, managed by the National Urban Security Technology Laboratory (NUSTL) in the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) assists emergency responders in making procurement decisions by providing unbiased market research and comparative assessments of commercially available products. SAVER produces documents, including focus group, market survey, and assessment reports as well as technotes, handbooks and other documents, to support emergency responder with information to inform their procurement activities. This survey is intended for emergency responders who leverage SAVER to provide feedback on the quality and helpfulness of these documents to enable NUSTL to continue to support the first responder community.

Authority: The information requested on this survey is collected under Public Law 103-62; Public Law 107-347; and Executive Order 12862.

Purpose: The primary purpose of this survey is for the DHS S&T NUSTL customers to provide feedback on the quality and helpfulness of NUSTL’s publicly available documents on DHS’s website, including those developed through NUSTL’s SAVER Program. DHS S&T NUSTL uses the information you provide to gauge the quality and helpfulness of these documents and to identify ideas for improved and expanded service offerings. This feedback will aid NUSTL in improving or expanding its services and offerings and better understand customer uses.

Disclosure: The information you provide is voluntary. Furthermore, consenting to participate in further communication with S&T is voluntary. However, failure to provide the requested information may prevent you from sharing your feedback on the quality and helpfulness of NUSTL’s publicly available documents.

Routine Uses: The information will be used by and disclosed to S&T personnel for the purpose stated above. DHS follows approved routine uses described in the associated published privacy impact assessment [DHS/ALL/PIA-069 Surveys, Interviews, and Focus Groups], which you can find at www.dhs.gov/privacy.
