Devotions at Home – Sharing faith practices at home. Ways to integrate faith in your at-home life, with your spouse, family and/or with close friends.; Approaches to nurturing a Christian home.

Extemporaneous Prayer – Praying naturally, from your heart and out loud.

Fasting Spiritual Discipline – When, why, and various forms of fasting that draw us closer to God; Removing ourselves from a consumerist culture; Nurturing empathy with those who hunger.

Franciscan Spirituality - An attitude of reverence for God in all things and a deep appreciation of the goodness of creation as a reflection of God's love; based on the teachings of St. Francis (1181-1226) and St. Clare of Assisi (1194 – 1253).

Gospel at the Centre of the Circle (Gospel-Based Discipleship) – a popular scriptural prayer method gifted to us by our Indigenous friends

Healing Prayers – Does God really heal people today? Explore compassionate and appropriate approaches to healing prayer.; Practice the Laying-on-of-Hands.

Ignatian Spirituality - Spirituality for everyday life based on teachings by St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Jesuits (1491–1556).

Intercessory Prayers – various ways to pray for others

Labyrinth – Walking prayer using a mat or other model to aid the interior spiritual journey or contemplation.

Lectio Divina (or Divine Reading) – A popular method of using scripture as prayer.

Liturgical Dance – Various approaches to embodied prayer and worship.

Musical Devotions – Singing, playing instruments, listening to music that elicits the holy within us.

Mysticism – The tradition of mystical practices and mystical theology, that emphasize a profound experience of God’s presence and union. Famous mystics: Francis of Assisi, Hildegard of Bingen, John of the Cross, Teresa of Ávila.

Prayer Shawl Ministry – and other crafting activities that involve praying and blessing people with these arts.

Prayer Walking or Hiking – pilgrimage with devotions.

Reconciliation – Exploring God’s forgiveness, mercy and restoration; The sacrament of the Reconciliation of a Penitent (private confession). Forgiveness is possible.

Scripture Study – Doing deep dives, including rigorous discussion on several Bible passages together. Discovering how this Living Word relates to our life today.

Sharing Faith Stories – exploring together how God has impacted our lives.

Silent Prayer Practices (Holy Listening) – contemplation, meditation, centering prayer.

Small groups - To nurture faith through study, prayer, etc.; Starting and facilitating small faith gatherings.

Spiritual Direction – What is it? Who’s it for? Mini-sessions one-on-one with a skilled Spiritual Director.

Theological Worlds – Explore the five common Christian perspectives, to help understand our Christian attitudes and preferred viewpoints.
