Volunteer Application for the 2023 Marina Cleanup Day

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 2023 Marina and Jetty Island Cleanup Day! With your help, we can keep the Everett waterfront a clean and safe place to visit. Please see below for more information about this year’s event! 
 
Marina Cleanup Day Details:
When: April 22, 2023 between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Where: Port Gardner Landing (just north of Lombardi's near the Grand Avenue Park Bridge)
What you need to know:
- This event takes place outside – rain or shine. Please dress accordingly.
- Supplies and snacks will be provided.
- Transportation will be provided to and from the island and will be on a first-come, first-served basis for those interested in cleaning up Jetty Island.
- Volunteers must be 18 years or older. Those under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

*Please note: If you are volunteering with a group, each person must fill out this application and the hold harmless agreement.

By filling out this application and the hold harmless agreement you will be signed up to volunteer for this year's event. Day-of walk-ups are also welcome.

* 6. Walk-in participants are welcome, but pre-orders for T-shirts have been closed. We are unable to guarantee T-shirts and particular sizes day-of, but will have extras available while supplies and sizes last. Please indicate your preferred T-shirt size below.

I understand that as a volunteer for the Port of Everett that I will receive no expense reimbursement, compensation, or benefits available to regular employees of the Port.  In addition, I understand that I serve at the discretion of the Port.  Even though I am not in an employer-employee relationship, I must conform to the appropriate rules and regulations commonly applied agree, to the maximum extent permitted by law, to waive and release the Port of Everett, their officials, employees and agents from any and all claims which may arise as a result of any expenses, personal injury, loss or damages incurred during my participation in this event including, without limitation, coverage under Title 51 RCW and other statutory benefits as well as liability arising from contract or tort.  I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Port; their officials, employees and agents (and any volunteer providing transportation to me, if applicable) in all matters related to my services as volunteer worker including, but not limited to property damage, personal and/or bodily injury.

Pictures will be taken during the event and may be used in Port promotions.
