The Nonprofit Legal Audit Clinic is an initiative of the Colorado Nonprofit Association, the Colorado Lawyers Committee, the Association of Corporate Counsel – Colorado, and sponsoring law firms to assist small nonprofits in assessing their legal health. Representatives from your nonprofit will have the opportunity to meet with several lawyers (without charge) to review legal issues facing your organization. The Clinic is intended to help nonprofit organizations think about transactional and regulatory legal issues.

The Clinic is not intended to assist nonprofit organizations with threatened, pending, or active litigation matters.

Ensure your organization meets the eligibility requirements and can commit to attending the clinic:
  • Organization must be a member of the Colorado Nonprofit Association
  • Organization must have a budget of $750,000 or less.
  • Organization must be a registered 501(c)(3) organization.


Note: If accepted, you will be required to meet with a paralegal to conduct a pre-clinic intake call.
