FDCA is in discussions with a number of Regulatory Authorities in relation to the capacity of family day care to respond to education and care needs through innovative models. There has been a growing interest in the potential of in venue models specifically to respond to these needs.
Recent conversations with a number of approved service members operating in regional areas have, however, highlighted that there are a number of challenges in responding to community needs, for example, through barriers to having in venue care sites approved in a timely manner.
We want to hear from you if you are currently approved to operate in venue care, if you have ideas regarding innovative models, how in venue care could be expanded or if you’ve experienced issues or challenges getting approval for in venue care.
