CPCA along with Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO) will be co-leading the National Health Center Immigration Workgroup to help align the health center voice nationally around immigration issues, in particular around public charge. We will be working in partnership with NACHC and hope to encourage all PCA’s to join.

Goals of the National Health Center Immigration Workgroup:
  • Educate health centers and PCAs about upcoming policy changes impacting immigrant patients, including strategies for responding, and opportunities to weigh in on policy development.  
  • Develop and share resources to support health centers, immigrant patients, and PCAs in understanding and responding to actual and potential policy changes.
  • Work to align and coordinate the health center/ PCA/ NACHC/AAPCHO message around policies impacting immigrant patients.
