Introduction and purpose of the survey

Every year the NGO Delegation to UNAIDS Programme Coordinating Board prepares a report on a thematic topic which is relevant to the HIV response. The focus of the report this year is Community Leadership. The NGO Delegation is seeking input from communities to identify obstacles and barriers to community leadership, examples of how communities have been impacted - and have responded to threats, especially from the ‘anti-gender/anti-rights’ movement - and priorities for ensuring the work of communities most affected by HIV can be optimised in order to achieve the end of AIDS as a public health threat by 2030.
