Our Community is working to help not-for-profits meet the challenges of diversity in modern Australia. As part of this, we’re looking at the cultural, social and practical barriers that can make it difficult for some to find a place in our NFPs. We're looking for the ways NFPs can draw more effectively on the perspectives and experiences of people from under-represented groups.

The information we're seeking from you below, will guide us in developing useful resources to help not-for-profits address the question of diversity and inclusion.

(For context, we're considering diverse representation as related to gender, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identity, people with disability, people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities, people of colour, younger people, older people, LGBTIQ+ people, as well as those with varied socio economic experience etc.)

If you’re from an under-represented group, or if you share our concern that lots of work will be needed to bring our sector into the new era, we’d like to hear your opinions – and your stories.
