1. Introduction

CNETS would like to assess the need for a dedicated collaboration of  Nurses and Dieticians in Canada who provide care to people affected by neuroendocrine cancer, and who have an interest in their care.  CNETS’ mission is to provide support and education for Canadians on all aspects of Neuroendocrine Tumours (NETs), which includes nurses and dietitians, who are fundamental to the multidisciplinary care team of NETs.

CNETS is hoping to unite nurses and dieticians across the country and facilitate a platform for them to work collaboratively to identify and discuss any challenges and gaps in care models and work on closing those gaps. The group can also share knowledge, experience, best practices and learn from each other while developing resources and tools to enhance care delivery and improve the NET patient cancer journey.

To gauge interest in a national collaboration of nurses and dieticians in NETs, we would like to invite nurses, dieticians, and the CNETS community to complete this survey.

In addition, CNETS is considering holding a virtual national meeting for NET nurses and dieticians in late 2021 and would like to learn of topics and presenters of interest.

If you have a nurse or dietician colleague or are being cared for by a nurse or dietician who has not received an invitation to complete this survey please feel free to share the survey link and invite them to participate.
