Message from Police Chief Nick Polidori

Law enforcement exists to serve the public by being an integral part of the community and by forging relationships to enhance its ability to solve problems and achieve a common goal – that of public safety. No community can function effectively without law enforcement and no law enforcement agency can function effectively without the community it serves. To that end, the Southern Pines Police Department is composed of dedicated, professional men and women who are committed to serving the needs of the community. We seek to work together as we address the myriad of issues and concerns that face society with the goal of making a positive difference in the lives of our friends and neighbors. We work together with other agencies, with other aspects of local and regional government, and with you, our constituent groups, to solve problems by using a cross-functional approach. Please partner with us as we all have a role in achieving the goal of public safety. The survey that follows is just one way you can partner with your police department and play an important role in improving our services.

This survey should only take less than 5 minutes of your time to complete. Your answers will be completely anonymous. Answering all of the questions is not mandatory. If you choose to skip any question please feel free to do so, as this will not invalidate your responses. However, a complete survey will provide us with a broader range of data to analyze.

If you have any questions about this survey, please contact our Accreditation Manager, Bill List at blist@southernpines.net or call 910-692-2732.
