1. Introduction and Instructions

20% of survey complete.
Welcome to the first ever Pediatric EHR Device survey. The purpose of this survey is to get a sense of how well different devices serve pediatric practices accessing their EHRs. Which models hold up well? Which ones are fast or slow? Which ones are too expensive or too cheap? Which devices do other pediatricians recommend?

The design of this survey is such that you will need to complete the questions for each 'type' of device you have in your office. So, if you use a particular laptop in your exam rooms, your nurses use something different, and then you have an iPad at home...that's three runs through the survey. At the end of the survey, you can return to the beginning and start again. The more data, the more we all learn.

To get the details about most devices, try these instructions:

- Windows Machines

- Apple Laptops and Desktops
Apple->About This Mac

- If you run a Linux machine, we assume you are cool enough to know how to get the info already.

If you don't know the exact specifications of your device, just do your best or leave the answer empty.

Results will be shared at Chip's Blog (chipsblog.pcc.com) and on SOAPM.
