PURPOSE OF THE RESEARCH: This study is designed to examine perceptions of a peer interactions.
PROCEDURES OR METHODS TO BE USED: You will be reading a vignette about two peers interacting with each other. After reading the vignette, you will be asked questions about the two peers in relation to the statement you read.
LENGTH OF STUDY: This will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.
RISKS OR DISCOMFORTS ANTICIPATED: There are no known anticipated risks beyond what would be encountered in your daily life, although responding to some of the statements in this study may invoke some feelings of anxiety or discomfort because of the topic or confronting one’s own attitudes about it.
BENEFITS ANTICIPATED: You will earn extra credit point in exchange for participation.
EXTENT OF CONFIDENTIALITY: Your response will be strictly anonymous and confidential and will be used only for approved research practices. All identifying information will be removed prior to publishing or presenting.
TERMS OF PARTICIPATION: I understand this project is research and that my participation is completely voluntary. I also understand that if I decide to participate in this study, I may withdraw my consent at any time and stop participating at any time without penalty.
