What would you like from your GSI membership?

We want to hear from you about your society! This survey will help the Gerontology Society of Iowa board further develop services, programs, activities, and more that will bring value to your membership. Please help us by taking this survey.

* 1. As a GSI member, what do you think should be our core services/programs? (Select 4)

General education programs (e.g., annual conferences, topic-focused summits)

Networking opportunities (e.g., mentor programs, ambassador programs)

Special interest groups (e.g., optimal aging group, dementia group)

Promoting Iowa students and scholars in gerontology (e.g., webinars on research/grants/programs)

Connecting Iowa employers with students (e.g., career fairs, volunteer opportunities, internships)

Intergenerational programs/activities (e.g., older adults connecting with younger adults program)

GSI policy institute/program (e.g., educational information related to aging policy)

GSI research institute/program (e.g., grant funded research conducted through/in partnership with Iowa colleges/universities/organizations, fellowship program)

GSI research journal (i.e., peer reviewed online journal)

Promotion of Iowa's colleges and university programs in aging including continuing education for older adults

Older adult worker program (e.g., collaboration with Iowa's colleges/universities to assist older adults with developing education and skills for employment/entrepreneurial/volunteer interests)
