Introduction

The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. The aim of this survey is to capture the experiences of students at the University of Melbourne. This anonymous survey is critical as its results will assist in evaluating the effectiveness of the University of Melbourne’s anti-racism action plan.

This survey will be structured in such a way as to capture both any overt instances and experiences of racism and the subtle experiences of casual racism such as (but not limited to) microaggressions.

We understand that the more subtle experiences can be more difficult to identify, articulate and report. While appreciating this, we encourage people taking this survey to do their best to share all types of experiences, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem.

This is your chance to voice your concerns into tangible change that we can take to the University, please feel free to share any incidents you've experienced or witnessed, your story matters.

The answers to the survey will be anonymous.

Get in touch at peopleofcolour@union.unimelb.edu.au if you have any questions.

Survey closes Sunday 27 October 11:59pm AEST.
