While many are familiar with the book Cracking the Coding Interview as preparation for a traditional career in computing, there is no comparable resource for discovering or preparing for other careers both within industry and research. The objective of this survey is to create such a resource.
This survey aims to collect insights and experiences from computing professionals pursuing a diverse array of career paths, and turn these findings into a resource to help aspiring computing professionals discover a broad range of career options.
