Scholarship Details
McDonald's Trailblazer Scholarship Program is Championing Black Excellence by Awarding $10,000 in Scholarships to HBCU Students.
McDonald’s is proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in the Greater Tennessee Valley. Ten (10) scholars will be selected to receive a scholarship of $1,000 for the 2022-2023 academic school year, which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees.
Incoming and current HBCU students are encouraged to apply for the Trailblazer Scholarship Feb. 1 through March 21, 2022 at 11:59 PM EST. Ten scholarships, up to $1,000 each, will be awarded to students for the 2022-2023 academic year, and winners will be announced in April.

Eligibility requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Be enrolled full-time as a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior attending
an HBCU in the Greater Tennessee Valley during the 2022-2023
academic school year. Eligible HBCU’s include Tennessee State
University, Meharry Medical College, Fisk University, Austin Peay State University, Alabama A &M University, Oakwood University, Drake State Community College.
- Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
- Able to demonstrate leadership abilities.
- Be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be 18 years or older
