Open Space & Recreation Priorities

In this activity, we want to learn more about how we should prioritize open space & recreation acquisitions and investments.

This survey should take less than 10 minutes.

You'll be asked two questions about your open space priorities. Then, a map based on your answers will pop up, and you'll be asked to comment on whether that map matches to your vision.

Coastlines, wetlands, and beaches that protect us from sea level rise and storms.

Parks, trails, and playgrounds filled with healthy kids.

Natural spaces that support wildlife and human communities.

* 2. How would you prioritize Mattapoisett’s efforts to acquire more open space (being mindful of limited municipal budgets)?

Places that contribute to the protection of Mattapoisett Village, the harbor, and waterfront homes and businesses.

Places that protect animals and natural systems.

Places for residents to play and exercise.
