The Winter Market Auction highlights the wonderful, beautiful and imaginative works produced in the San Juan Islands.
Last year we tested a juried online sales platform that worked well with buyers from several states. This year we are featuring the Auction in promotions through the Seattle Times to reach buyers in nearby metro areas. Our Winter Artisan Market participants at Odd Fellows and others from across the islands are welcome to show and sell their works during the auction. (We encourage participation from makers that may not be showing at physical holiday fairs to feature their work in the auction to build visibility regionally.)
Winning buyers have the option for pick-up, delivery or shipping. This year's live auction will open at 8am on Nov 25th and close at 8pm on Dec 7th. Notification of sales will be available by noon on the 8th and sold items should be pulled from stock on the 8th and set aside for pick-up or shipping. Open to fine art, artisans, musicians, creative service providers (including garden, travel experience or wellness), and makers from all islands. You do not need to be a physical site market vendor to sell through the auction.
