DH is partnering with HCA to develop new PSA style videos for the opioid prevention and treatment campaign WA Tribal Opioid Solutions.

These videos must support and align with the important work Tribes and tribal organizations are already doing to prevent opioid misuse and treat opioid use disorder. We want to hear your thoughts about where to focus energy. This survey includes 4 questions to help guide our creative and production team in the right direction.

Thank you for your time and consideration. Please share a link to this survey to those in your network who work in opioid prevention and treatment, youth programs, tribal health or communications.

Question Title

* 1. What are important opioid misuse prevention messages that you feel need to be communicated in your community? Examples include but are not limited to refusal skills, building resiliency, challenging stigma and alternatives to pain management (including traditional healing).

Question Title

* 2. What cultural factors would need to be included in these videos to help resonate with Native people across Washington state?

Question Title

* 3. What scenarios do you envision in a PSA video about opioid misuse prevention that would feel authentic and meaningful? This could be something like an elder telling a story to a young adult, a family beading together, or youth playing basketball.

DH is hosting a group creative concepting session on Friday, February 19 from 1:00 – 2:30 to discuss creative ideas for videos. If you or a colleague would like to participate you can register here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZAldeihpzosHNNbxHnFXPhkz2XK73PxrLrW
