Generally, respondents feel that the following features at the park require the most improvements: Pathways, lawn open space, shade and trees, landscaping, furnishings and ponds, covered groups shelters & community gardens & pond overlooks, activity center, outdoor exercise equipment and pedestrian bridge, futsal court, parking lot.

Generally, people would like to see walking / running path improvements, dog parks, food trucks, programmed events, and additional benches for sitting quietly / observing:

Generally, people voiced desire for landscape improvements that are advantageous towards wildlife, volleyball courts, safety improvements, basketball courts, bocce ball, soccer, concerts, and unlocked bathrooms.
    Concept Plan Plans

    The following Concept Plans were developed based on community survey #1 results, site constraints, pond analysis, feedback received from meeting at the activity center in fall 2023 and Reno Parks and Recreation staff input. The program elements including their locations size and location were intentionally varied to garner feedback on community preferences which will help develop a preferred master plan concept. Please provide feedback on your preferences and thank you for your participation.
