The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) kindly requests you to share your perspectives on diabetes in just five words. These words could be your feelings, whether positive or negative, about your condition, your experience of diabetes or its impact on your life. Don’t over-think it – just give us the first words that come to mind. 'My five words about diabetes' is one of many IDF activities to mark the centenary of insulin. The five words (or short phrases if one word just won’t cover it!) will be used to generate word clouds that will be promoted on the IDF Insulin at 100 website, during the IDF World Diabetes Congress 2022 in Lisbon and through other IDF channels.
