Nominations are now being accepted for the 2025 Workforce Development Golden Apple Education Awards. Award recipients will be announced and recognized during the Sheboygan County Workforce Development Symposium on August 20, 2025 at Pine Hills Country Club.

Please consider nominating someone for the following awards:
  • Workforce Development Symposium Educator of the Year - Sheboygan County
  • Workforce Development Symposium Business Education Partner of the Year - Sheboygan County

* 2. The Workforce Development Golden Apple Educator of the Year - Sheboygan County Award honors a teacher who has positively impacted students through innovative education programs, mentoring, or who goes above and beyond the call of duty to prepare students for success in life after graduation.

Eligibility
  • Must be a teacher who is employed by a school district within Sheboygan County
  • Works with students K-12
Criteria
  • Successfully demonstrates having a positive impact on Sheboygan County students as a result of their programs, actions, or initiatives
  • The impact should be viewed as long term, enhancing, and easily recognizable
  • Dedicated to the career development of their students
  • Encourages students toward employability excellence
  • Demonstrates a commitment to self-growth and professional development through continuing education

Question Title

* 3. The Workforce Development Golden Apple Business Education Partner of the Year - Sheboygan County Award honors a business or organization who has positively impacted students through successful partnerships with education, innovative education programs, mentoring, or initiatives that encourage students toward employability excellence.

Eligibility
  • Must be a business or organization located in Sheboygan County
  • Must be a member of the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce
  • The actions, programs, or initiatives must benefit Sheboygan County students
Criteria
  • Successfully demonstrates having a positive impact on students as a result of their programs, actions, or initiatives
  • The impact should be viewed as long term, enhancing, and easily recognizable
  • Demonstrates a successful and sustaining partnership with Sheboygan County schools and/or educators
