ABOUT IDEA INITIATIVE
The Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Allyship (IDEA) Initiative was established to address systemic racism and the resulting health disparities. Through this initiative, the AC Forum works to increase awareness and promote diversity in leadership, membership, and programming. The hope is for health care professionals to engage in this initiative, re-evaluate their current practice, reduce health inequities, and improve the quality of care for all patients.
WEBINAR SERIES
We are developing a four-part webinar series to highlight the critical topic of structural racism and health disparities. This series will include stories and shared experiences from both patients and clinicians on how racism has impacted them and concludes with a discussion on implementing real change in one’s practice.
