The Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS) is introducing a new and secure digital solution to improve the efficiency of environmental applications under the Mining Act 1978. Known as Resources Online, this platform will replace the existing EARS Online.

Resources Online aims to improve the assessment timeframes of mining environmental applications, modernise activity approvals, and deliver a risk-based, outcome-focused regulatory framework.

We would appreciate your input by completing a five-minute survey about your experience lodging exploration and mining environmental applications to DEMIRS through EARS Online.
