Referrals to the Psychology Skills Group for Adolescents

The Psychology Skills Group for Adolescents (PSGA) ran by SPMHS is a psychological group therapy for young people who are experiencing a range of mental health difficulties. This group aims to support young people to learn new ways of coping that can help them manage distress. This group is centred on learning a mixture of skills from Dialectal Behavioural Therapy for Adolescents, Radically Open Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Group Radical Openness.

Parents / caregivers are invited to attend the group alongside their young person for 22 sessions. All sessions are delivered online via MS Teams. Referrals are accepted directly from GPs.
