The Collab: Social Activities

What type of social activities do you feel is most needed or wanted by you and your loved one who identifies with a developmental/intellectual disability? (Maximum of two choices)
Speed dating (one-time in-person events for people to meet other people to explore potential connections).
Speed friendship (similar to speed dating, one-time in-person events, but for the purpose to meet new potential friends).
Meet-ups (one-time in-person events to meet new people while engaging in organized activities (e.g., Fun Haven, mini-golf, dance, etc...). Different people may participate in different activities.
Social club (An organized group that meets in-person for a pre determined set amount of times to get to know each other and form friendships within the group).
Pay it Forward events (An organized group of people planning and participating in giving back mini events or charity events. These are organized activities to support other communities like: park/river clean-up, bottle drive, retirement home sign-along, etc...). Providing opportunities to connect with other and form new or maintain current friendships.

In-person activities

One-time activities (register for one event/activity at a time)
A series of activities (Pre-schedule and determined number of activities)
Each activity has different people participating
Same people participating in a series of activities
Facilitated events (Planned activities within the event for people to connect and get to know each other)
Non-facilitated events/activities (simply offer the space and activity and let them be to meet and connect on their own)
