Thank you for your interest in Maui Family Support Services, Inc. (MFSS) childcare subsidy programs!
We currently offer three unique childcare subsidy programs for families in Maui County,
each designed to meet different needs and eligibility criteria:
Quality Care for Hawaiian Keiki (QCHK)
Maui County Childcare Subsidy (MCCS)
MFSS Disaster Relief Childcare Subsidy (DRCS)
As you proceed through this screening, you’ll be asked questions to help determine which program(s) may be the best fit for your family.
THIS SCREENING IS JUST THE FIRST STEP IN APPLYING FOR CHILDCARE SUBSIDY FROM MFSS.
Please be ready with your Monthly Gross Income and family size (including parents, children under 18 or those with disabilities, and unborn babies if the mother is pregnant).
Important Tips for Completing the Screening:
>Certain exemptions may apply based on your family’s specific circumstances.
>Be sure to read each question carefully to ensure accurate responses.
>If your responses indicate eligibility for one or more of our programs, we will send you an application.

- SCHOOL/TRAINING VERIFICATION
- EXPENSE VERIFICATION (WHAT BILLS YOU HAVE AND HOW DO YOU PAY THEM)
- SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES VERIFICATION
- BIRTH CERTIFICATES & PHOTO ID'S
- COMPLETE BANK /VENMO/CASHAPP STATEMENTS
- OTHER ITEMS AS LISTED IN REQUIRED DOCUMENTS SECTION OF APPLICATION
- VERIFICATION FROM FEMA, THE REDCROSS OR OTHER COMMUNITY SERVICES ORGANIZATION OF FIRE AFFECTED STATUS (ON ORGANIZATION LETTERHEAD OR OFFICIAL DOCUMENTATION)
If you reach a disqualification screen, it may indicate ineligibility for all programs; however, please feel free to contact us for clarification if needed.
