PIB Environmental Management Plan Development

Background

The Penticton Indian band would like your input on the creation of an Environmental Management Plan. An Environmental Management Plan is a guiding document/plan meant to identify concerns within the local environment and create a plan to ensure the health of the environment. This can include the development and implementation of environmental policy pertaining to land use, targeted habitat restoration activities, etc. In short, it is a tool or agreement communities create that is used to protect and care for the local environment.
