London Ambulance and Maternity Survey |
We are working with the London Ambulance Service (LAS) NHS Trust to understand the experiences of women and birthing people who have used London Ambulance or NHS 111 services during their pregnancy or within 12 months postpartum. We want to help LAS understand how they can improve their service, particularly for Black, Asian and mixed-ethnicity women.
By taking part in this research, you will be providing information that will be used to reduce health inequalities by the London Ambulance Service.
LAS are responsible for the ambulance service and the 111 service. If you have used either service (or both) during the last three years, we need to hear your experiences.

LAS are responsible for the ambulance service and the 111 service. If you have used either service (or both) during the last three years, we need to hear your experiences.
We want to hear about:
- The experience of women and birthing people accessing Urgent and Emergency care via either 111 and/or 999.
- The experience of women and birthing people when receiving care from LAS during pregnancy and 12 months post-partum.
You can also take part if you have not used either service – we would like to know your views on what the service should offer pregnant and postpartum women.
If you choose not to take part in this survey it will not affect the care you receive from the NHS in any way. If you do not wish to take part, or you do not want to answer some of the questions, you do not have to give us a reason. Your answers will be treated in confidence.
