NBPPC Tech Presentations Survey |
The AASHTO TSP2 Program is sponsoring a National Bridge Preservation Partnership Conference (NBPPC ‘14) in Orlando, FL, April 21 – 25, 2014 to discuss, promote and advance the state of the practice of bridge preservation. The conference organizers are seeking a mix of presentations on topics related to bridge preservation from:
• Bridge preservation practitioners from DOTs
• Bridge preservation practitioners from other transportation agencies (Toll Authorities, Bridge Authorities, etc.)
• Consulting firms, material suppliers, contractors, and other companies whose products and services are used for bridge preservation.
• Members of academia doing research on aspects of bridge preservation
This survey is intended to identify potential presentations on bridge preservation in the four broad categories of Deck Preservation, Superstructure Preservation, Substructure Preservation and Implementing and Managing Bridge Preservation Programs. Numerous topics of interest to bridge preservation practitioners have been identified. Author/presenters are encouraged to select one of the topics, but presentations on topics not listed will be given equal consideration. The list can be found HERE
Preference in selection of presentations for the conference will be given to case histories or presentations that describe methods, technologies, products, or services that have been successfully applied in programs to preserve bridges.
Please complete this survey by July 30, 2013.
