Registration: Youth Arts for Social Change Summit 2019
Join us at the 2019 Youth Arts for Social Change Summit!
The Boch Center, with its Teen Leadership Council and Youth Planning Committee will be hosting the Youth Arts for Social Change Summit Saturday, March 2, 2019 12-4 pm Hibernian Hall in Roxbury’s Dudley Square.
The Summit is a gathering of young people and organizations from the Boston and Greater Boston area inspired to advocate for social change through the arts.
This event is free and open to the public.
Attendees will
participate in a collaborative art making workshop
engage in dialogue regarding shared initiatives and best practices
hear brief presentations from various Boston youth groups and organizations advocating social change through the arts
showcase their art in an open mic/ talent show and visual art for social change gallery/ contest.
*A late lunch will be provided for participants
The Summit is an interactive event. We hope to facilitate an experience that helps build stronger connections between young people and their communities by offering a platform for youth art and voice while encouraging a culture of collaboration.
